Holy Cross Council 10617 honoured several members with special awards, presented at the annual Steak and Awards Barbecue on Friday, June 11. The success of the Council, which is approaching it's 20th anniversary at Holy Cross parish, has been due to the selfless and dedicated contribution of many generous volunteers. This year's honourees have maintained the Council's traditions of service.

The 6th annual parish pig roast, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, will take place Friday, September 18th in the parish hall. Tickets will be sold after all Masses on September 5-6, so be sure to get yours early as it's going to be a sell-out.

Tickets are $15 per person and FREE for children 12 years and younger. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and dinner starts at 7:00 p.m.

Come early and enjoy some fellowship with the Knights.

Join your fellow parishioners for dinner at this wonderful parish event. As always, for just $15, you get an 8oz striploin steak cooked to order, and your choice of baked potatoes, fresh rolls, salad, and dessert. Children, 12 and under, are encouraged to join their parents at dinner, and will be served their choice of free hamburgers and hot dogs. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the steaks will be hot off the BBQ at around 7:00 PM.
