Children's Liturgy will start again on Sunday, September 12th, 2010 at the 9:30 a.m. Mass. All children ages 4-12 are welcome to attend.

The 7th annual Parish Pig Roast, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, will take place Friday, September 17th, 2010 in the parish hall. Tickets will be sold after all Masses on September 11-12, so be sure to get yours early as it's going to be a sell-out once again.

Tickets are $15 per person and FREE for children 12 years and younger. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and dinner starts at 7:00 p.m.

Come early and enjoy some fellowship with the Knights.

The Holy Cross Youth Group will begin their year of activities by holding their third fall retreat on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the church hall. All young people from grades four and up are invited to participate and to become members of the Youth Group.

Our Annual STRAWBERRY SUNDAY will take place on Sunday, June 27, 2010, after all morning Masses. Everyone's favourite, Strawberry Shortcake, as well as strawberries and ice cream, will be served at a cost of only $3 per person, (this includes a cold or hot drink). Tables and chairs will be set up and we invite you to come down and relax while you enjoy some of our local berry treats!!

Holy Cross Council 10617 honoured several members with special awards, presented at the annual Steak and Awards Barbecue on Friday, June 11, 2010. The success of the Council, which is approaching it's 20th anniversary at Holy Cross parish, has been due to the selfless and dedicated contribution of many generous volunteers. This year's honourees have maintained the Council's traditions of service.
