To mark the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ, Holy Cross Parish held a Eucharistic Procession after the 9:30 Mass on Sunday, June 6, 2010.

In his homily, Fr. Lukose reflected on the meaning of the Eucharist and reminded the congregation that in receiving the Eucharist, believers are in communion with God and with each other.

The annual Share Lent collection will be taken at weekend Masses, March 20-21, 2010. This past week, members of the Mission, Peace and Development committee made the following announcement at all Masses:

It's time to sit back and relax after the busy holiday season and let the kids do the cooking. Come out and join your fellow parishioners on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 6 pm (after the 5 pm Mass) as the Holy Cross Youth host their Third Annual Parish Pasta Dinner.

This year's dinner will once again feature mouthwatering homemade lasagna prepared by the youth, as well as plenty of fresh salad, rolls and some fabulous desserts.

The Hospitality Committee invites you to mark your calendar for the Annual Christmas Bake and Craft Sale on Sunday, December 6, 2009 after all morning Masses in the parish hall.

A signup sheet will soon be available for those who wish to donate baking for the sale.

Mark your calendars for our Old Fashioned Parish Supper which will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009.

The dinner includes roast turkey with all the trimmings, ham and veggies. For dessert, along with tea and coffee, there will be plenty of homemade pies and other goodies for everyone!

Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $13 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Get your tickets after any weekend mass from a member of the hospitality committee. This event is always a sell-out!
