The young members of Holy Cross Parish were treated to the beginning of Children’s Liturgy on September 16, 2007. For the remainder of the school year, Children’s Liturgy will be held on most Sundays at the 9:30 a.m. Mass. All the young children over the age of 3 are welcome to take part.

This years Holy Cross Parish Pig Roast is a great way to start out the Thanksgiving long weekend! The 4th annual dinner will take place Friday, October 05, 2007 in the parish hall. Tickets are still only $15 per person, and children 12 years of age and younger eat for free!

The Eleventh Annual Holy Cross Parish - Vincent Taillon Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on Friday, July 13, 2007 at the Hylands Golf Club.

The tournament will commence with a shotgun start at 1:30 PM. Following the tournament, a Roast Beef and Chicken buffet dinner will be served.

In 1994, Fr. Tom Riopelle, the then Pastor of Holy Cross Parish, took some initiatives to add aesthetic improvements to the Church. One of the outstanding features is the tabernacle area. The central part of the stained glass window represents the Ark of the Covenant in which the people of the Old Testament carried the Holy of Holies (2 Samuel 6:14). It is encircled by the wings of Angels hovering protectively around it.

The third annual Indo-Canadian Gala served up generous amounts of musical entertainment and exciting Indian cuisine to nearly 200 guests on Friday, May 11, 2007.
