March, 2013. Since early January, more than 30 children have been busily preparing for their First Holy Communion, to be celebrated during morning Masses on the first two Sundays after Easter. The children and their parents attended six sessions of the Come Join Us at the Table program, led by members of the parish's Sacramental Preparation Committee. The children made their First Reconciliation on March 5.
The annual Christmas Craft and Bake Sale at Holy Cross Parish was well attended after all the morning Masses, Sunday December 2, 2012. Highlights of the event included tasty breakfast buns with ham and cheese, apple pies baked by members of the hospitality committee and a wide variety of crafts made by local artisans. Various charities are supported by sales from this event, which has been a highlight of the parish's social calendar for the past twenty-five years.
