Approximately 300 parishioners and guests attended a Memorial Service hosted by the Bereavement Committee of Holy Cross Parish on Sunday afternoon, November 4, 2012. The service was held to honour the memory of parishioners' family members who had died in the past two years.
The Hospitality Committee of Holy Cross Parish hosted the annual Old-fashioned Parish Supper on Saturday, October 27, 2012. The menu included roast turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and an assortment of vegetables. The dinner was attended by 165 guests, many of whom were family or friends of members of the parish.
The Knights of Columbus assisted with the setup of the tables and chairs, and the Youth Group helped serve the meals and clean up after the meal. A special note of thanks goes to Tom Flynn and Greg Yost for their dedicated work in the kitchen.
Celebrating the Year of Faith, a series of six public talks will be held at Holy Cross Parish from September 24 to November 3, 2012.

The 9th annual Parish Pig Roast, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, will take place Friday, September 14th, 2012 in the parish hall. Tickets will be sold after all weekend Masses until September 9; be sure to get yours early as the event will be a sell-out once again.
Tickets are $15 per person and FREE for children 12 years and younger. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and dinner starts at 7:00 p.m.
Come early and enjoy some fellowship with the Knights.
To mark the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ, Holy Cross Parish held a Eucharistic Procession after the 9:30 Mass on Sunday, June 10, 2012.
Beautiful weather greeted the parishioners as they processed through the parking lot and along the sidewalk in front of the church. The procession was led by the cross-bearer and flag-bearers. The Sir Vincent Taillon Assembly of the Knights of Columbus provided an honour guard and the choirs of the 9:30 and 11:15 Masses provided music. The procession was followed by a Benediction service.
