The Youth Group from Holy Cross Parish treated parishioners to a car wash during the Saturday evening and Sunday morning Masses on the weekend of September 22-23, 2007.

Bright sunlight and warm temperatures gave the parking lot a festive air as more than twenty of the parish's young people took soap and water to our community's cars.

The car wash was organized to raise funds for three activities involving the youth of our parish:

• Two of our parishioners will be attending World Youth Day in Australia during the summer of 2008.
• One of our parishioners will be spending a year in Australia with NET Ministries, an evangelization effort by young people in various parts of the world.
• Our Youth Group will be organizing numerous social and religious events throughout the year in our local community.

The Holy Cross Youth Group welcomes all high school or university-aged parishioners who enjoy volunteering in the parish and getting to know other youth. To learn more about the activities or to join the group, please email Robin at hcyouth@hotmail.com.
