Pastoral Care is the love of neighbour expressed through the skills of LISTENING, AFFIRMATION, PRAYER and REFERRAL. It is BEING rather than DOING. Our members visit those who are shut-in, elderly, bereaved or may be experiencing temporary, extraordinary situations. We visit parishioners in hospitals (if requested) and institutions. For many, a very important part of the visit is receiving Communion. Confidentiality is the cornerstone of our ministry. Our greatest challenge is to have you, our parishioners, let us know when you, or someone you know, may be in need of our services. Please call the name that appears in the bulletin.

Additional team members are sometimes needed. Every member is required to take at least a ten week basic training course which is given twice a year, in the spring and fall.
