Our Catholic Community - Ottawa, Ontario, Canada"Come Join us at the Table" underway
The Sacramental Preparation team once again is offering the "Come Join us at the Table" program for children preparing for their First Eucharist. In six sessions, the students and their parents are presented with an easy-to-grasp overview of the sacrament. This year, 41 students are participating.
Anna Dorner, a member of the team, introduced the program to Holy Cross in 1993 and has been a driving force behind its presentation ever since. "It's a fun program that speaks to the children in language they can understand", she notes.
