Parish Lenten Mission 2009

All are welcome to attend this years Parish Lenten Mission. Fr. Luc Tardif OMI and Fr. Joy Mampillikunnel CMF will be speaking on "St. Paul: His Contribution in the Life and the Mission of the Church". In this year of St. Paul, it is apt and fitting to come together and reflect upon the conversion and mission of this Great Apostle of Nations.

The mission will take place over the course of three evenings, beginning Monday, March 23, 2009, continuing Tuesday, March 24, and concluding on Wednesday, March 25 with the Parish Lenten Reconciliation Service. All three evenings will run from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Please remember to bring your Bible. Free will offerings will be accepted.

About our Speakers:

Fr. Luc Tardif OMI is a priest in the Congregation of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. He was ordained in 1982 and is presently Rector of Saint-Paul Seminary, and is also teaching at St. Paul University. He has also been involved in the life of several Christian communities and parishes to collaborate for adult religious education and spiritual renewal.

Fr. Joy Mampillikunnel CMF is a member of the Claretian Congregation. He was ordained in 1993 and has great experience as a Missionary working in Uganda (Africa). He is currently working on his Masters in Mission Theology at St. Paul University, Ottawa.
