The Holy Cross Youth Group held its annual fall retreat on Saturday, October 22. The guest speaker was Lee Leonard, a missionary with Catholic Christian Outreach and an active member of the parish community.

More than 150 people braved icy conditions to take in a concert by the Ottawa Police Chorus on Friday, November 26, 2010. They were treated to an evening of uplifting and inspiring music, performed by a skilled and enthusiastic choir under the leadership of Geoffrey Linklater and accompanied by Carol Gurofsky. The theme of the concert was peace and the Christmas season.

The Holy Cross Youth Group celebrated Stations of the Cross at Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto in Vanier on Saturday, October 23, 2010. The event, which attracted 15 members of the parish, was the second spiritual event organized by the group this autumn; in September, the group sponsored a retreat led by Brother Steven Boucher, o.p.

The Holy Cross Youth Group will begin their year of activities by holding their third fall retreat on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the church hall. All young people from grades four and up are invited to participate and to become members of the Youth Group.

Children's Liturgy will start again on Sunday, September 12th, 2010 at the 9:30 a.m. Mass. All children ages 4-12 are welcome to attend.
