The Holy Cross Parish Youth Group held their third car wash in recent years at the Sunday morning Masses on August 30, 2009. They extend a heartfelt thank you to all the parishioners who supported their efforts so generously.

A portion of the contributions to this fund raising event will go to support one of the group's members who is spending a year with NET Ministries of Canada. The remainder will support the group's parish activities throughout the remainder of the year.

Ready to sit back and relax and let the kids cook your dinner? Are you in the mood for a good old Italian dinner? Well mark your calendars and get ready to eat! Throw away those pots and pans and forget about cleaning those messy dishes and join with your fellow parishioners on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 6 pm (after the 5 pm Mass) as the Holy Cross Youth host their Second Annual Parish Pasta Dinner, this year featuring homemade Lasagna!

Two members of Holy Cross Parish, Andrew Flynn and Krista Costanza, received a special blessing from Fr James before departing on a World Youth Day pilgrimage to Australia. Andrew and Krista also received a gift from the Holy Cross Youth Group, as a token of appreciation for their leadership and participation in group events.

On June 22, 2008, the Holy Cross Youth Group held the final activity of their busy year, washing cars for parishioners at the weekend Masses when the weather permitted. Proceeds of the car wash helped support two pilgrims attending World Youth Day, a member of NET Ministries, and the ongoing activities of the Youth Group.

The Holy Cross Youth group will be holding their second annual parish car wash fund raiser at all masses on the weekend of June 21/22, 2008. Upon arrival, simply park your car in any space in the church parking lot, and by the time mass ends, your vehicle will be sparkling clean!
