Theme:    Repent and believe the Good News of Jesus Christ and you will bear much fruit

Commentary:  
In our Gospel today Jesus tells us twice to ‘repent’. That means to turn away from sin, our wrong choices, and return to obeying our Heavenly Father. Then Jesus tells a story about a fig tree that has not grown figs for three years.
